# TradeControl Documentation

> Official usage documentation for TradeControl, a chart-based trade management tool for NinjaTrader 8. These guides explain visual trade planning, position sizing, ATM execution, risk controls, and presets.

TradeControl helps discretionary traders connect Entry, Stop, and Target planning with position sizing and ATM (Advanced Trade Management) execution. These are product usage guides, not trading recommendations. Users choose their trades and risk settings. Enabled checks can block order submission when configured rules are violated; they do not guarantee that losses will be prevented.

For questions about how to use a control, consult the specific guide below. For current pricing, trial terms, licensing offers, and availability, consult the product home page. Risk calculations have limitations, including commissions and slippage, described in the calculation reference. TradeControl is independent of NinjaTrader Group, LLC and is not endorsed by NinjaTrader.
