Execution Checks

Before an order is sent to the market, TradeControl runs final validation checks and shows their status:
- Risk Gate checks the enabled risk rules. A confirmed violation blocks the operation. An enabled numerical rule uses its entered limit, including zero; disable the rule to skip it.
- Preflight always runs and verifies the inputs required by the chosen order and sizing mode. Qty and manual trading can work without a stop, unless an enabled rule requires one. Risk amount, Risk %, Max risk per trade, and Risk vs equity require a stop.
Missing required data is Pending/Warning and prevents submission, but it is not a confirmed violation. Requirements depend on the sizing mode and enabled rules; Qty sizing does not require account balance or monetary instrument metadata.
The circuit breaker latches only if it is enabled and you attempt an operation that violates a risk rule. Previewing, editing, recalculating, repainting, or inspecting these checks does not latch it. Pending data does not latch it. Disabling the breaker does not bypass enabled rules.
The order is executed only if all active checks show OK.
