Account Minimum
When enabled, Account minimum protects a minimum account value. Before an operation is submitted, TradeControl estimates what the account equity would be if the applicable stop losses were reached. The operation is blocked if that estimated equity would fall below the minimum you configured.
If the estimated equity is equal to or above the minimum, this control passes. All other enabled Risk Gate checks must also pass before the operation can be submitted.
Minimum Modes
Section titled “Minimum Modes”You can configure the minimum in two ways:
- Cash: enter the lowest account value you want to allow.
- Percentage: enter the percentage of the current account balance that you want to preserve. For example, entering 80 means that the account must retain at least 80% of its current balance after the evaluated stop-loss risk.
For example, with a current balance of 50,000 and an Account minimum of 80%, the floor is 40,000. If the equity projected after the evaluated stop risk is 39,999, the operation is blocked. A projected value of exactly 40,000 passes this rule; all other enabled checks must also pass.
The status display shows the projected account value after the stop-loss risk and its distance from the configured minimum. The control does not resize the trade or move its stop automatically; adjust the setup or disable the rule before submitting again.
With the rule enabled, 0 is a real minimum, not an off switch. Disable Account minimum to skip its evaluation.
Missing or invalid balance, equity, or required stop-risk data leaves the check Pending/Warning and prevents submission without confirming a violation or latching the circuit breaker. A confirmed breach can latch the breaker only on an attempted operation and only when the breaker is enabled. See Risk Gate Summary.
