This diagram labels each interactive and diagnostic element of the Risk tab.

The numbers in the image are reference markers for this page only. They are not shown in the platform UI.

For every enabled numerical rule, the entered value is the limit, including zero. Disable the rule to skip it. Percentage fields use visible percentages: 1 means 1%, or 0.01 in a decimal-fraction formula.

Missing or insufficient required data is Pending/Warning and prevents submission without confirming a violation or latching the circuit breaker. Check results and the breaker’s latched state are separate.

  1. Daily Loss Mode Selector
Choose how the Daily Loss limit is interpreted: absolute cash (Cash) or percentage of account balance (%).

  2. Max Risk per Trade Mode Selector
Choose how per-trade risk is enforced: absolute cash (Cash) or percentage (%).

  3. Daily Loss Limit Enable
Turn Daily Loss protection on or off. When off, this rule is ignored by the Risk Gate.

  4. Max Risk per Trade Enable
Turn per-trade risk enforcement on or off. When off, this rule does not block order flow.

  5. Require Exact Stop Coverage for All Positions
Enforce valid protective stops across open positions. If coverage is missing or invalid, new trades are blocked.

  6. Risk (Stops) vs Equity Buffer Rule
Activate the stop-risk-to-equity guardrail. This rule checks whether aggregate stop risk remains within the configured equity buffer.

  7. Max Position Size Quantity Enable
Cap candidate quantity and the magnitude of the projected net position in the same instrument. Exceeding the cap blocks the operation; it does not reduce the calculated quantity automatically.

  8. Max Nominal Exposure Enable
Cap abs(projected net position) * price * PointValue for the current instrument. This does not aggregate the portfolio or reserve pending entry orders. Different instrument and account currencies require explicit conversion data.

  9. Daily Trend Warning Enable
Block operations against the daily EMA18/EMA40 trend while enabled. Despite the Warning label, this rule prevents submission; insufficient daily data also prevents submission as Pending/Warning.

  10. Circuit Breaker Status
    Read the current breaker state.

  11. Circuit Breaker Enable
Enable or disable halt-on-violation behavior. When enabled, an attempted operation that violates a risk rule latches the breaker until Reset. Editing, recalculating, repainting, and viewing checks do not latch it; Pending/Warning data does not latch it either.

  12. Account
Shows the active account name used by Risk snapshot calculations.

  13. Balance
Shows current account balance from the account snapshot feed.

  14. Daily Loss Status
Shows daily realized loss against the limit, or Disabled when the rule is off. It blocks only when loss exceeds the limit (loss > limit); equality passes this rule. Percentage mode uses account balance.

  15. Daily Loss Limit Value
Enter the Daily Loss threshold value. Input meaning follows the selector in Part 1 (Cash or %).

  16. Daily Loss Status Light
Visual compliance indicator for Daily Loss. Green indicates compliant; red indicates violation; off when disabled.

  17. Max Risk per Trade Value
Enter the maximum stop-based risk allowed for a single trade, including zero. This enabled rule requires a valid stop even in Qty or manual mode. Input meaning follows Part 2; percentage mode uses account balance and divides the displayed percentage by 100.

  18. Max Risk per Trade Status Light
Visual compliance indicator for per-trade risk. Green indicates compliant; red indicates violation; off when disabled.

  19. Risk vs Equity Buffer Value
Enter the percentage of equity allowed for existing plus candidate stop risk: budget = equity * (Buffer / 100). An enabled Buffer of 0 means a zero budget. This is not a broker margin buffer.

  20. Risk vs Equity Buffer Status Light
Visual indicator for the stop-risk-to-equity rule outcome.

  21. Max Position Size Status Light
Visual indicator for the candidate quantity and projected net position checks against the configured quantity cap.

  22. Max Nominal Exposure Value
Enter the nominal exposure ceiling used by the Max Exposure rule.

  23. Max Nominal Exposure Status Light
Visual indicator showing whether projected nominal exposure of the current instrument is within the configured cap.

  24. Daily Trend Warning Status Text
Displays trend-state feedback such as deactivated, no data, or the active EMA relation message.

  25. Daily Trend Compliance Light
Visual indicator for trend rule alignment under current conditions.

  26. Risk Gate Status
Shows the global gate result (Risk Gate: OK or Risk Gate: NOK).
Risk Gate evaluates account-level and policy rules; this is different from Trade-tab Preflight, which validates trade-setup integrity. Pending/Warning reasons prevent submission without confirming a breach. Review the existing status modal for the reasons.

  27. Circuit Breaker Reset
Clear a tripped breaker after reviewing and correcting the cause. Current checks must still pass; Reset does not bypass rules or missing data.

  28. Open Positions
Shows current position quantity for the active instrument snapshot.

  29. Equity
Shows current account equity from the snapshot pipeline.

  30. Available Margin
Shows currently available margin for additional trading.
